Agreement
These terms apply when you engage ConstructionWebDesign for web design, development, SEO or related services. A signed proposal or accepted quote forms our agreement, alongside these terms.
Scope and changes
Each project has a written scope. Anything outside that scope is quoted as a small change and only billed once you’ve agreed it in writing. No surprise invoices, ever.
Payments
- 50% on signing the proposal, 50% on launch.
- Monthly plans billed by direct debit on the 1st.
- Invoices payable within 14 days. Overdue interest at 4% above Bank of England base rate.
Ownership
Once final payment clears, you own the site, the code, the content and the domain outright. No vendor lock-in.
Hosting and care plans
Care plans are monthly with 30 days’ notice on either side. SEO retainers run for a fixed term (usually 6 months) before becoming rolling.
Liability
Our liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the project in the 12 months prior. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or anything that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
